Money Ready Mini Volunteer

Volunteers have an instant impact by delivering a 15 min text scam activity to several groups of young learners. Guided by our trainers, you help prepare Year 6 pupils for independence ahead of starting secondary school, by recognising text scams and what to do if they receive one.

What you need to know:

  • Number of volunteers required (minimum): 1
  • Number of volunteers required (maximum): 2
  • Timings: 09:00 am – 15:00 pm  (6 hours)
  • Location: In-person

All our Money Ready Mini deliveries have taken place for the 2025-26 academic year. We will release our 2026-27 deliveries as soon as co-ordination has been completed.

It was very enjoyable, and our trainer was really good with the kids. Hopefully I helped a little, I enjoyed thinking of additional examples and points to make and even received a spam text during the day that I could show them!
