Terms and Conditions: Booking a Money Ready Session
Background
Money Ready is a registered charity in England and Wales (Reg. No. 1123791) and Scotland (SCO050175) and a company limited by guarantee (Reg. No.6215005). Money Ready develops innovative youth led educational tools for young people and adults to build the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage their money effectively.
In this document, the terms ‘institution’ and ‘organisation’ are used to mean the organisation that has booked Money Ready to work with their young people and adults.
Costs
Many of Money Ready’s education programmes are available on a fully-funded basis. However, in instances where funding is not available, a fee may be required.
We try our best to accommodate requests across the United Kingdom and Ireland, but where locations are beyond a reasonable distance from the location of our Money Ready Trainers, we reserve the right to request payment for additional costs incurred, such as travel, accommodation or subsistence. We will only do this with agreement from the organisation in advance of the delivery of sessions.
Cancellation Policy
Money Ready delivers programmes directly to young people and adults via host organisations using in-house staff and freelancers. We provide all paper materials and audio-visual assets. Money Ready’s cancellation policy applies to programmes that are directly paid for and to those provided on a funded basis.
At our discretion, Money Ready will charge, per Money Ready trainer affected, £100 for cancellations or changes within two weeks, and £250 for cancellations or changes within three working days of the scheduled delivery date.
Short notice cancellations or changes to deliveries incur direct costs to Money Ready and significantly impact our commitments to the funders of the programmes. Funders pay Money Ready to deliver financial education programmes. In order to provide our sessions ‘fully-funded’ to organisations, it is important we honour our commitments to funders. If sessions are cancelled or postponed at short notice, this jeopardises our ability to deliver as promised.
