Our impact
Discover why and how we help people take control of their financial futures.
Money Ready is a financial education charity working with young people and adults across the UK.
We’re Money Ready – but you might know us formerly as MyBnk.
Money Ready is a leading financial education charity. Why is this important? Everyone needs to be able to manage their money. Yet almost two-thirds of young adults do not recall receiving any financial education at all, and 53 per cent are worried that they will never be financially secure. Poor financial literacy is central to many problems people face today, including rising mental health issues, homelessness and unemployment.
Money Ready aims to bridge this gap, working with over 50,000 individuals across the UK every year, delivering expert-led, high-impact financial education programmes on topics such as saving, debt and student finance.
A financially fluent population.
We bring the language of finance to life so that everyone can navigate their money with confidence, no matter where they start.
We believe that financial literacy should be considered a right for all because the language of money is a language for life.
20 years ago, MyBnk was born, and we started delivering high impact financial education programmes to young people across the UK. We’ve been covering topics such as saving, budgeting, debt, and banking for almost two decades, both in person and online, working with over 500 organisations last year alone!
As the needs of our audience evolved, we thought it was time for a refresh. Our name and look may have changed, but we’re still offering the same best-in-class programmes to realise our vision and mission.
In 2025, we were proud to welcome RedSTART Educate into the Money Ready family. RedSTART was a leading charity in primary school financial education, known for its innovative workshops and virtual banking app that helped thousands of young children build strong money habits early in life.
By joining forces, we’re now delivering financial education from early years to adulthood, offering a lifelong learning journey that starts even earlier and reaches even further.
RedSTART’s Change the Game programme is now delivered through Money Ready. Find out more here.

In the 2023–24 academic year, we supported a total of 52,960 learners – an impressive 43% increase from 2022–23. We delivered 2,770 programmes, averaging more than 10 programmes per day, and provided 12,295 hours of delivery. Our work was supported through partnerships with 519 organisations, and we achieved 1,889 money management accreditations during the year.
We currently work with young people and adults aged 7-37. However, we can be flexible with learners on the cusp of these ages.
We work with a variety of delivery partners across the UK – from schools and pupil referral units to colleges, youth hostels, councils, employability organisations and young parent groups. If you work with groups of people who would benefit from financial education, we want to hear from you.
Yes, most of our programmes are free or funded for delivery partners to book thanks to support from our funders.
We also offer financial education services i.e. consultation and collaboration on a paid for basis.
Our programmes can be delivered either directly in-person or virtually via secure video link. We take a holistic approach to education, using interactive resources, games, videos, and real-world challenges and scenarios to bring money to life. This way, participants learn to become informed consumers, savvy savers, and mindful spenders – all while having fun!
Our funding comes from a range of sources, mainly from grant making trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, and private donations.
