Practical tips for applying

We want your application to give us a clear sense of who you are and why the role you are applying for feels like the right fit for you. Here are a few tips to help you prepare:

Whether it’s our mission, your passion for financial education, or the way we work, we want to know what drew you to Money Ready — and what you hope to bring to the story.

If you’re shortlisted, you’ll be invited to two interviews, with at least one held in person. You may also be asked to complete a short task or assessment. For most of our roles, we offer an optional online webinar before the closing date a chance to hear more from the hiring manager and ask questions in a relaxed setting. We know these processes can feel formal, but we keep them thoughtful and purposeful.

We understand that people may use AI tools to help prepare applications. That’s fine – but please use them thoughtfully. If you use AI, make sure your final application reflects your own words, experience and understanding of the role. We want to see how you approach things not a generic version.

Use the job description and person specification to shape your application. We’re interested in the experiences, skills and values you bring especially where they align with what we’re looking for.

We live in the real world and that’s what we’re interested in. You don’t need to be perfect. We’re looking for genuine people with a willingness to learn, grow and work collaboratively. Show us what matters to you and how you think.

We believe stories are a powerful way to communicate. Please share real examples from your work moments that show how you’ve made a difference or learned something meaningful.
